Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okoroji slips a jab and a cross from Baird.
Baird throws a sloppy head kick and Okoroji moves out of range easily.
No joy there for Baird, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baird throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Okoroji connects with a nice looking jab.
That has opened up Brady Baird's cut even more.
Okoroji lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Okoroji throws a looping overhand right but Baird ducks down to avoid it.
Good standup being displayed there by Okoroji as he connects with a hook.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baird rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Okoroji moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Okoroji has taken the fight to the clinch.
Okoroji has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Baird regains guard immediately.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Okoroji stands up over Baird, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Okoroji, as that shot connected.
Baird shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Baird was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Okoroji is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baird is breathing heavily.
Okoroji bucks up and throws Baird to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Okoroji feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
