Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Angel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Cain Smith! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Smith throws a right and a left that Angel avoids nicely. Smith tries to clinch but fails miserably and Angel counters with a lovely straight right hand! Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Angel. Smith moves into the clinch. Angel is fighting off a takedown attempt but Smith is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Angel to the mat. Angel regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Angel has an active guard here but Smith has managed to pass into half guard.
Angel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Angel tries to get out of the position. Smith not landing any meaningful shots this time. Smith gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Smith swinging wildly here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Angel sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angel scores with a hook to the body. Smith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Angel looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well. Angel scores with a nice head shot. Smith tries to keep at a distance but Angel has taken the fight into the clinch. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Smith tries to pull guard but Angel forces him back to his feet, against the ropes. Angel pushes Smith back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. Smith is looking to take this one to the mat. Dave Angel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Smith. Angel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Smith.
Angel lands a body punch in the clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith stalling in the clinch but Angel improves position. Angel works on Smith's body with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Angel fails to land. Angel misses with a body punch.
Smith goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Smith has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Angel is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Angel looking to slow down the pace here. A short right hand to the side of the head by Angel. Smith manages to break the clinch.
Smith misses with the combination.
Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Angel which made him look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angel lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Angel connects with a stiff jab that staggers Smith - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
