Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clay Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renato Velcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by I'm a Souljah. Renato Velcic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Clay Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Velcic! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velcic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Diaz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Diaz looks up at the clock and then as Velcic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Diaz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Velcic is trying to get back to half guard. Diaz is looking to take a break and control but Velcic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Velcic tries to get back to half guard but can't. Diaz lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Velcic down.
Velcic sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Velcic works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz lands a couple of digs. Velcic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diaz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Velcic looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Diaz cracks Velcic with a solid left hand. Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Velcic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz is looking to stand up but Velcic won't let him. Velcic looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Diaz trying to control but Velcic is working from the bottom. Velcic working for a triangle but Diaz defends it easily.
Diaz tries to free his leg and advance position but Velcic is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz wants to control from the top but Velcic keeps moving. Velcic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Diaz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Diaz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diaz controlling from the top position. Velcic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Diaz gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Velcic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Velcic looks gassed! Velcic wants to stand but Diaz is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velcic has momentary wrist control but Diaz slips an elbow through the middle. Velcic keeping moving, preventing Diaz from controlling successfully. Velcic is looking for a triangle but Diaz pushes his legs off easily.

Diaz gets to his feet. Velcic looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Excellent takedown into side control there by Diaz. Diaz trying to control the position but Velcic is working away. Diaz prevents Velcic from escaping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velcic is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Diaz decides to take the fight back to the feet. Velcic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Danga de danga de dang - Velcic scores with a four punch combination! Diaz slips a jab and a cross from Velcic.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Diaz. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Velcic manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Velcic thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Velcic looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Diaz throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clay Diaz dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Velcic is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Velcic looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Velcic tries to close the distance and clinch but Diaz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Velcic tries to clinch but Diaz is having none of it. Diaz clinches up against the cage. Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Diaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Velcic as he avoids it easily. Diaz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Velcic counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Velcic misses with a two punch combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velcic throws a hook but Diaz blocks it. Nice defenses there by Diaz. Diaz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Velcic throws a left and a right that both miss
and Diaz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Velcic! Velcic keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Diaz scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz with good strikes from the mount here! Diaz lands with some strikes.
Velcic is rocked! Diaz looking to finish Velcic with some ground and pound. This is bad for Velcic! Velcic is still in real trouble! Can Diaz finish him? Diaz drops a big elbow. That's hurt Velcic! More shots from Diaz and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
