Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Austin Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by This Calling. King has chosen The Heretic Anthem as his entrance music. Philip King has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
King feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lee's calf.
King fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lee is out of range.

King wants to land a leg kick but Lee is out of range.
Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
King dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!

Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lee steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from King. That one must have hurt.
Lee is breathing heavily.

King lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lee takes a step back to recover.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lee. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
King really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, King has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Lee tries to advance position but instead King slips a leg back in to half guard.
Lee tries to pass the half guard into mount. King knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Lee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so King is just riding it out for now. Lee eventually gives up the hold.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.
King won't allow Lee to pass to mount.

Lee stands up out of the half guard.
Philip King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King misses with a low kick as Lee jumps back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
King feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lee's calf.
King throws a quick inside leg kick.
King stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.
King lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters circling a little - King finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
King throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Lee shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense.
Lee is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

King buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
King bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee shoots in but no luck this time.

Lee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. King sprawls well initially but Lee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lee is working for a submission of some sort.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Philip King dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

King scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
King throws out a leg kick but Lee moves out of range and King only half commits.
King motions for Lee to come forward. King throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lee takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Some bone on bone action there as Lee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
King walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lee checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Lee will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
King throws a leg kick that misses.
Lee keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with King, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes King against the cage but King circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
King feints and then cracks Lee's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lee down.
King explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
King throws a chopping leg kick but Lee manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A slapping leg kick lands for King.
Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side.
King dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lee decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
King on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Lee is tying to control. King wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee is trying for a kimura here. King looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Lee wins by kimura!
