Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Twig Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker comes to the cage accompanied by Tiger Style. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Twig Jones was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Twig Jones!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Walker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Walker moves into range and clinches up with Jones.
Walker is trying to break the clinch but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones landing knees to the head.
Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Walker misses with a knee to the head.
Walker tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage.
Walker avoids the elbow strike from Jones, against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jones obliges.
Jones lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Marcus Walker has been cut.
Jones lands a damaging elbow.
Walker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Walker breaks the clinch.
A jab-cross combination lands for Jones and sends Walker crashing to the mat! Jones follows him down to the mat - Walker regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Walker is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Oh Walker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones clinches up with Walker and pushes him back against the cage.
Jones lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Walker to his knees! Jones keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Twig Jones!
