Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Breweer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipe Diogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diogo closes the distance and pushes Breweer back into the cage. Diogo has Breweer pushed against the cage. Breweer fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Breweer drags the fight down to the ground.
Breweer trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Diogo wants to control from the top but Breweer keeps moving. Diogo tries to stand but Breweer is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Breweer wants to sweep but no luck. Breweer is trying to keep Diogo in close.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Breweer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diogo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Breweer somewhat. Breweer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Breweer shoots in for a double leg but Diogo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Samuel Breweer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Diogo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Breweer to the mat! Breweer manages to get full guard. Breweer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Diogo pushes down on Breweer's leg and manages to get into half guard. Diogo not doing much here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breweer is staying active underneath Diogo, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Diogo is looking for a kimura here.
Breweer is looking to control Diogo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Breweer avoid being mounted? Diogo is pressing down on Breweer's thigh, looking to free his foot. Breweer is holding on for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Filipe Diogo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Breweer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Breweer clobbers Diogo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Breweer throws a sloppy body shot
and Diogo counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Breweer fails to land the takedown. Breweer is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Diogo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Filipe Diogo dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Breweer lands with a nice body kick. Diogo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Breweer defends it nicely. Diogo shoots in and drives through. Breweer sprawls well. Breweer tries to clinch but Diogo moves out of range. Breweer tries to clinch up. Diogo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Breweer swivels and escapes. Samuel Breweer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filipe Diogo. Breweer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Diogo on the side of the head. Breweer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diogo pinned against the cage. Diogo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A head kick misses from Breweer. Diogo is breathing heavily.

Breweer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diogo. Diogo shoots for a takedown but Breweer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Breweer connects with a jab. Diogo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Diogo clinches. Breweer is working for takedown but Diogo is calmly controlling the position for now. Diogo fails to pull guard.
Breweer lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Diogo or not. Breweer manages to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breweer has his foot on Diogo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diogo works his way back into a safe position though. Breweer looking for a guillotine here but Diogo defends easily.

Diogo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Diogo tries to free his leg and advance position but Breweer is retaining full guard. Diogo trying to control but Breweer is working from the bottom. Breweer looking for a sweep. Not yet Breweer, not yet.

Diogo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Breweer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Diogo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Diogo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Breweer sees it coming and defends easily. Breweer trying to control from the bottom.
Diogo thows a huge punch but Breweer dodges it nicely.
Diogo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Breweer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Diogo pulls his head out easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Diogo trying to pass the guard but Breweer defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Samuel Breweer dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Nice sprawl there from Breweer as Diogo shoots in. Breweer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Diogo feints and as Breweer raises his hands in defense, Diogo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Breweer trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diogo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Breweer dives on top into guard. Breweer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Diogo is trying to control the position but Breweer postures up. Diogo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Breweer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diogo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Breweer tries to free his leg and advance position but Diogo is retaining full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Diogo wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Breweer is now in half guard. Breweer is trying to control. Diogo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Filipe Diogo has got the better of the ground game so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Samuel Breweer. Breweer dives in and grabs Diogo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diogo pushes down on Breweer's head and hops out. Breweer shoots in looking for a takedown. Diogo tries to sprawl out of it but Breweer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diogo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice takedown defense from Breweer. No joy for Diogo on that attempt. Samuel Breweer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Diogo misses with a takedown attempt - Breweer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Samuel Breweer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filipe Diogo. Breweer lands with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Breweer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Breweer gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Breweer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Diogo just stands there and leans against the cage. Breweer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Diogo is trying to trip Breweer. He has hold of a leg but Breweer is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Diogo persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Breweer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Diogo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diogo stopping the sweep attempt from Breweer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Breweer pulls Diogo in to control the position. Diogo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Breweer takes the fight into the clinch. Diogo tries for a takedown. No joy.

Diogo jumps guard but Breweer stands there with Diogo around his waist. Diogo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Samuel Breweer. I think Breweer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
