Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Teddy Bear! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Richard Head! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Head to score with a decent uppercut. Bear keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Head. An inside leg kick lands from Bear. Head defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bear. Head gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bear to score an easy takedown into full guard. Bear won't allow Head to sweep him here. Head is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bear with a flurry of punches that miss. Head looking to control.
Bear is looking to work some ground and pound but Head has wrist control. Bear throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Head works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bear chips away with some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bear showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Bear knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Head on the ground.

He's got his arms around Head's waist but Head gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bear off to one side. A big right from Head misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Head. Bear clinches up against the ropes. Head stops a takedown attempt from Bear.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear misses with a takedown attempt - Head sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Head throws the left hand but Bear avoids the punch easily. A big right from Head misses. The fighters circling - Head throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nice jab there from Head. Bear looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bear is looking to take a break and control but Head is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bear performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Bear on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bear tries to get out of the position. Bear scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Head is looking to regain half guard here but Bear keeps moving and retains side control.

Bear prefers to stall for the moment though. Head wants to control but Bear postures up. Bear wants to control but Head is keeping him busy. Head manages to get back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Head manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bear throws a big right hand that misses. Head is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Teddy Bear. I think Head has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Richard Head wins by unanimous decision! Richard Head tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
