The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pavlis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pavlis wants to break free but Ofthegods has control.
Pavlis decides to pull guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ofthegods stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pavlis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pavlis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ofthegods is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pavlis is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pavlis has escaped and now he's on top!
Ofthegods had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pavlis defends it easily.
Pavlis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ofthegods has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pavlis has managed to get both his arms back between Ofthegods's legs - danger averted.

Pavlis decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ofthegods to his feet.

Pavlis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ofthegods, pushing him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ofthegods tries to pull guard but Pavlis won't allow it.
Pavlis lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Pavlis breaks the clinch.
Pavlis throws a combination that misses
and Ofthegods counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pavlis won't be happy with that.
Ofthegods will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ofthegods is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pavlis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pavlis is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ofthegods is controlling him well.

Ofthegods is trying to pull guard but Pavlis has him pressed against the cage.
Pavlis wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ofthegods drags the fight down to the ground.
Pavlis throws a big elbow that misses.

Ofthegods escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pavlis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pavlis gets to his feet - Ofthegods follows without any prompting.

Ofthegods keeps the fight on the outside.
Pavlis looks for a takedown but Ofthegods sprawls well.

and Pavlis counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Pavlis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Ofthegods tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pavlis just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wrath Ofthegods. That's going to take a lot out of him.
