Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wilfred Bongderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chaz Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bongderson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ennio Morricone - Ecstasy of Gold. Chaz Wong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wilfred Bongderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Chaz Wong!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong wants to clinch.
Wong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bongderson throws a series of strikes that have Wong backpedaling.
Bongderson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Wong tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bongderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Bongderson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Wong ducks under a wild hook from Bongderson.
Wong takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bongderson lands a nice shot that snaps Wong's head back.
Wong stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bongderson.
Bongderson lands with a nice body punch.
Wong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Wong closes the distance and clinches.

Wong using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Bongderson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Wong is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bongderson is defending well for now.

Wong trying to control the position but instead, Bongderson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Wong into the ropes.

Bongderson throws a lazy right hand but Wong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bongderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bongderson fakes the leg kick and cracks Wong in the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bongderson.
Bongderson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Nice body punch from Bongderson.
Wong looks gassed!
A good leg kick by Bongderson.
Bongderson scores with a jab to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wong tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Bongderson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Good shot there by Bongderson.
Wong takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Bongderson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bongderson cracks Wong with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Wong is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bongderson lands a big uppercut and Wong crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wong looks OK. Bongderson waves Wong back to his feet!
Wong is still on wobbly legs! Can Bongderson finish him?
Bongderson sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Wong's defenses. It connects perfectly with Wong's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

In his post fight interview, Wilfred Bongderson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
