The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macale dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Spicer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Macale throws a front kick that sends Spicer stumbling back into the cage.
Spicer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Macale moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Macale lands a front kick.
A head kick by Spicer misses
and Macale counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Spicer thinking.
Spicer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Spicer is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Donk. Macale catches Spicer right on the button with a cross.
It looks like Cory Spicer has been cut.
Spicer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Macale connects with a crisp jab.
Macale fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Macale lands a nice looking body shot.
Macale lands a nice looking kick to the body. Spicer takes a step back to recover.

Macale is pawing at Spicer, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Spicer's nose. Spicer is badly hurt! Macale pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Spicer tries desperately to hold on but Macale is relentless in his assault! As Spicer receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Macale away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tiao Macale! Tiao Macale retains his super heavyweight title!
Tiao Macale really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Milwaukee's Best 160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
