The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ventura misses with a double jab

and Olesen decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ventura's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olesen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Olesen tries to score with some ground and pound. Ventura controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Olesen has knee on belly and moves into mount.

A big strike lands for Olesen! That's really hurt Ventura and he's turned his back - Olesen keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Olesen jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
