Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Bolden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eks Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man has chosen The Prodigy 'Invaders Must Die' as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Robert Bolden is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Bolden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eks Man!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Bolden throws a right and a left that both miss.
Man has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bolden finds it's way round the side to connect with Man's head.
Man's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bolden connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Man scrambles back to his feet.
Bolden clobbers Man with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Man scores with a shot to the body.
Bolden scores with a jab. Man acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Man looking to control but Bolden is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bolden tries to lock up and control but Man gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bolden is working to get back to half guard.
Bolden's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Bolden is wriggling around trying to escape.
Man looking to control but Bolden is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Man has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bolden's face.
Man sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Poor strikes thrown by Man there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Bolden keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Man thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Man can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bolden is looking to escape.
Man controlling his opponent.

Man is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bolden is surviving well by controlling Man's body position as best he can.

Bolden tries to reverse the position but Man maintains control.
Bolden is working hard here to advance position.

Man wants to control the pace but Bolden is squirming around nicely.
Man throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Bolden tries to hold on but Man postures up.
Man can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bolden is looking to escape.

Bolden is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Man controlling the position easily from mount.
Bolden is squirming around, avoiding Man's attempts to control the action.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eks Man was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Bolden misses with a hook
and Man counters with a straight right hand.
Bolden fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Man manages to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eks Man dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Man lands with a nice body punch.
Man misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Man lands a nice looking body shot.
Man misses the jab.
Bolden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Man misses the jab.
Bolden slips a jab from Man.

Bolden closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Man did well to prevent Bolden getting side control.
Man is trying is best to control the position here.
Bolden works his foot free and advances to mount.

Bolden landing strikes, looking to finish!

Eks Man has got the better of the ground game so far.
Man tries to reverse the position but Bolden maintains control.
Man is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bolden can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Man is looking to escape.

Man bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bolden is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Man tries to free his leg and advance position but Bolden is retaining full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Robert Bolden just wasn't active enough.
Bolden listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Man with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bolden to score with a decent uppercut.

Man throws a right hand that Bolden ducks under and follows up with a left that Bolden also avoids with ease.
Bolden throws a body punch but Man moves out of range.
Robert Bolden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bolden throws a jab when Man was well out of range.
Man shoots in looking for a takedown but Bolden manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Man's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bolden ducks under a wild hook from Man.
Bolden moves out of range as Man strikes.
No joy there for Man, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Man walks into a straight right hand from Bolden.

Man closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bolden's guard.
Bolden wants to stand but Man is controlling the position.
Man's corner is telling him to maintain position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bolden wants to get back to his feet but Man is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robert Bolden dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Bolden misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bolden is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Bolden shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Man is trying to defend but Bolden finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Man manages to get to full guard.
Man utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Man is looking for a triangle but Bolden pushes his legs off easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bolden accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Man desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Man is refusing to be controlled, as Bolden sits in half guard.
Bolden wants to pass the guard but Man is defending well.

Bolden passes to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bolden putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Bolden lands a big elbow.
Bolden raining down shots from the mount!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bolden breaks from Man's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Man regains half guard.
Bolden trying to mount his opponent but Man defends it.
Man is looking to control Bolden's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Man avoid being mounted?
Bolden with the ground and pound but Man uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Man looking for a guillotine here but Bolden defends easily.
Bolden working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Man has his foot on Bolden's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bolden works his way back into a safe position though.
Bolden passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Man is letting Bolden control him for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Man is trying to improve his position.
