Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Badge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying McQueen's choice of entrance music: Edguy - Ministry of Saints. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donnie Badge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James McQueen! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McQueen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Badge pushes McQueen away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McQueen gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. McQueen moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. It looks like McQueen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. McQueen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McQueen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McQueen working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badge defending against the ground and pound. McQueen tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. McQueen works to advance to full mount. Badge defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Badge avoids a series of strikes thrown by McQueen.
McQueen is in the full mount, landing strikes. McQueen controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McQueen throws a wild left hand from mount and Badge manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. McQueen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McQueen trying to control the action but Badge is working from the bottom. Badge tries to kick McQueen off but McQueen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. McQueen is just content to waste time from the top position. Badge takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McQueen is looking to work some ground and pound but Badge has wrist control. McQueen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. McQueen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. McQueen's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. McQueen wants to control from the top but Badge keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McQueen throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by James McQueen. No luck with that takedown attempt from McQueen. Badge gets caught napping as McQueen dives in and scores a takedown. Badge manages to retain guard. McQueen stops Badge from standing up. McQueen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Badge working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McQueen. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McQueen controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James McQueen dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Badge misses with a combination
and McQueen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McQueen. Badge has momentary wrist control but McQueen slips an elbow through the middle. McQueen throwing strikes but missing. McQueen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Badge is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Badge has escaped and now he's on top! McQueen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McQueen pulls Badge in close to prevent any damage. McQueen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Badge defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. McQueen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
McQueen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Badge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. McQueen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. Badge stopping the sweep attempt from McQueen. McQueen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Badge wanted to stand there but McQueen had control of the position. McQueen is trying to keep Badge in close.
Badge wants to stand but McQueen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McQueen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Badge in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McQueen landing strikes from the mount and Badge is in trouble! McQueen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McQueen raining down shots from the mount! Badge is squirming around, avoiding McQueen's attempts to control the action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McQueen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
McQueen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McQueen controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! McQueen connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Badge is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Badge is rocked! McQueen tries to control but Badge wriggling away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McQueen controlling from the full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James McQueen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Badge throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McQueen counters with a shoot takedown. Badge fights it but they end up in guard. McQueen trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Badge manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Badge postures up.
McQueen throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Badge is looking to stand up but McQueen won't let him. McQueen wants to sweep here but Badge controlling him for the moment. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. McQueen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Badge gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Badge has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Badge trying to stand up but can't free himself from McQueen's guard. McQueen pushes Badge off and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. McQueen cracks a nice hook into Badge's ribs. McQueen feints and as Badge raises his hands in defense, McQueen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. McQueen working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McQueen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. McQueen trying to control the position from guard on top but Badge is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

James McQueen has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Badge falls off balance throwing a combination
and McQueen counters with a takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McQueen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Badge keeps working. Badge is trying to improve his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McQueen working the body and head with strikes. McQueen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Badge's shoulder. That is not cool. McQueen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Badge has escaped the position, nice work there. James McQueen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badge is trying to escape the position but McQueen is controlling the position. Badge wants to get back to his feet but McQueen is dominant here and he's now got Badge's back! McQueen trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Badge doesn't escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! James McQueen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well McQueen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
