Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Five Sixteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCoy has chosen Voices as his entrance music. Matthew Five Sixteen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matthew Five Sixteen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Austin McCoy! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCoy misses with a takedown attempt and Five Sixteen counters with a nice double leg into side control. McCoy won't be happy with that. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. McCoy is trying to control Five Sixteen's posture but Five Sixteen avoids it. McCoy prevents Five Sixteen from improving position. McCoy is looking for a sweep. A control attempt from McCoy but he's now mounted! Five Sixteen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
McCoy wants to hold on but Five Sixteen pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Five Sixteen working McCoy over with strikes here. McCoy is bucking up trying to escape but Five Sixteen cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Five Sixteen can't control as he wanted to and McCoy manages to get the fight back to his half guard. Five Sixteen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Five Sixteen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McCoy trying to hold on to Five Sixteen's head to control him but Five Sixteen postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Five Sixteen is figuring out what he wants to do next. Five Sixteen wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCoy keeps working. Five Sixteen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McCoy tries to get to full guard but Five Sixteen has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Five Sixteen is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. McCoy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown by McCoy or perhaps it was just good defense by Five Sixteen which made him look bad. McCoy thows a body shot but no joy. A jab from Five Sixteen misses. Five Sixteen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McCoy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. McCoy fails with a takedown attempt. Matthew Five Sixteen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin McCoy. Five Sixteen tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCoy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Five Sixteen drives through with a takedown into guard. McCoy looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Five Sixteen is defending well. McCoy quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Five Sixteen has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! McCoy celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Austin McCoy! Austin McCoy is the new heavyweight champion! Jumping up and down and very excited, Austin McCoy waved his t-shirt featuring Nature's Edge Nutrition's logo in front of the cameras.
