The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berikk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dale sprawls well. Dale wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Berikk gets slowly back to his feet.
Dale tries to clinch there but Berikk circles away.
Dale tries to close the distance and clinch but Berikk swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Berikk counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dale has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Berikk is working away from the top position though.
Berikk throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Berikk missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Dale is in trouble now - Berikk has advanced to mount!
Berikk looking to isolate an arm here. Dale doesn't see it coming and as Berikk extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Berikk!
