Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theopolis Barrymore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuhiko Asai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barrymore comes to the ring accompanied by The Thing That Should Not Be. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Theopolis Barrymore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tetsuhiko Asai! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Asai wants to clinch up but Barrymore keeps it at a distance. Barrymore shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Asai pinned against the ropes. Asai gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Asai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Asai wants it to stay on the feet. Asai wants to clinch up but Barrymore keeps it at a distance. Asai fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Asai slaps away a takedown attempt from Barrymore, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Theopolis Barrymore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Asai doesn't manage to clinch there - Barrymore circles away.
Asai closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. With the fighters up against the ropes, Asai throws an elbow but misses. Barrymore tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Asai smiles and moves away.
Asai tries to clinch up but Barrymore circles away and keeps his distance. Asai rushes Barrymore and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Asai looks to throw an elbow but misses. Asai misses with an elbow over the top. Barrymore trying to control the position but instead, Asai has worked for underhooks and has pushed Barrymore into the ropes. Asai throws an elbow but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Asai creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Barrymore successfully pulls guard.
Barrymore has a closed guard, preventing Asai from standing up. Asai throwing strikes but missing. Asai is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Barrymore has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Asai is looking to defend but Barrymore has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Asai! Barrymore pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Asai taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Theopolis Barrymore!
