Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Langdon Dolwilt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Fall! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dolwilt throws a head kick that misses. Dolwilt gets a clinch. Dolwilt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fall throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dolwilt counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fall! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Fall wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Fall is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Dolwilt has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Fall's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fall tries to escape but Dolwilt has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Fall is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. I would not like to be Fall right now.
Fall is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Dolwilt is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Dolwilt keeps control of the position as Fall tries to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Fall is really stuck here.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dolwilt has good solid back control here. Fall tries to escape but Dolwilt has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt controls the position. Dolwilt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fall for as long as he can get away with. You can see the frustration on Fall's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Fall manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dolwilt's guard. Nice work there by Fall.
Dolwilt pushes Fall off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Fall misses with a double jab
and Dolwilt counters with a body kick that stops Fall in his tracks momentarily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fall closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dolwilt quickly recovers to half guard. Fall is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dolwilt controlling the position for now. This has been an exciting period of action! Fall is looking for a kimura but Dolwilt is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fall to get the leverage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fall seems to be working for a kimura but Dolwilt defends the submission attempt. Dolwilt is defending against the submission attempts here by Fall.

Fall tries to sprawl but Dolwilt drives through with a takedown into half guard. Dolwilt with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Langdon Dolwilt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dolwilt postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Fall to stand up. Good leg kick by Dolwilt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Dolwilt jumps guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fall is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dolwilt is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dolwilt has escaped and now he's on top! Fall has his foot on Dolwilt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dolwilt works his way back into a safe position though. Fall is looking for a triangle here but Dolwilt uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Dolwilt decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fall to his feet. A big left from Fall misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dolwilt controlling the pace. Dolwilt tries to stand but can't do so whilst Fall controls his leg. Fall with the active half guard here but Dolwilt passes nicely into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fall is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Fall is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dolwilt is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Dolwilt is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fall has his takedown stuffed and Dolwilt makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Fall really felt that one! Danga de danga de dang - Dolwilt scores with a four punch combination! Dolwilt misses with a looping left. Langdon Dolwilt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fall throws the left hand but Dolwilt avoids the punch easily. Fall fails with the takedown. Dolwilt scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dolwilt controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fall is trying to get back to half guard. Dolwilt decides to take the fight back to the feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fall misses with a hook. Dolwilt closes the distance and clinches. Dolwilt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dolwilt darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fall is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dolwilt pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Langdon Dolwilt dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Fall misses with a lunging right hand
and Dolwilt counters with a two punch combo. Fall tries for a takedown but Dolwilt circles away easily and Dolwilt counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dolwilt avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dolwilt stands up and waves to Fall to follow him. Fall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dolwilt. Dolwilt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fall to the ground. Dolwilt is now in Fall's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dolwilt got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dolwilt has managed to get both his arms back between Fall's legs - danger averted. Fall is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dolwilt is aware though and is defending well. Dolwilt controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dolwilt gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Dolwilt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Dolwilt decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Dolwilt slips a jab from Fall. Dolwilt moves into the clinch successfully.

Fall gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dolwilt counters by moving into the clinch. Fall wants to get back to striking at distance but Dolwilt won't allow it.

Dolwilt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fall to the ground. Dolwilt is now in Fall's guard. Dolwilt stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dolwilt moves into the clinch. Dolwilt has picked Fall up - he's going for a ride! Dolwilt dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Dolwilt wants to free his trapped foot but Fall is holding on for dear life with his legs. Dolwilt is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fall! Fall is looking to improve his position but Dolwilt isn't that keen on the idea. Fall looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fall is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Fall breaks Dolwilt's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Dolwilt looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fall advances position into side control! Fall looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dolwilt is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Jack Fall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Langdon Dolwilt is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Dolwilt is trying to control Fall's posture but Fall avoids it.
And that's the end of the fight! Langdon Dolwilt showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dolwilt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
