Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacek Halman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Halman has chosen How I Could Just Kill A Man as his entrance music. Josh Hastings has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Hastings! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jacek Halman! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hastings looks for a takedown but Halman sprawls well. Halman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hastings as he avoids it easily. Hastings tries to clinch but Halman is having none of it. Hastings gets caught napping as Halman dives in and scores a takedown. Hastings manages to retain guard. Hastings wants to get back to his feet but Halman is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hastings on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hastings tries to get out of the position. Hastings keeping full guard, as Halman tries to pass. Hastings knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Halman on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hastings wants to stand up but Halman is controlling him.
We're going to have a standup here because Josh Hastings wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hastings tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Halman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hastings tries to clinch up but Halman circles away and keeps his distance. Hastings has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hastings really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hastings slows down the pace here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Halman changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hastings fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Halman misses with a takedown attempt - Hastings sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Josh Hastings has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacek Halman. Hastings closes the distance looking to clinch and Halman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hastings's guard now. Halman seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halman trying to control the position from guard on top but Hastings is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Halman passes Hastings's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ground and pound from Halman.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Halman wants to control but Hastings is keeping him busy. Hastings wants to get back to his feet.
Halman throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Halman stops Hastings from getting back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Still in half guard, Halman seems content to control.
Jacek Halman has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Hastings tries to clinch but Halman is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hastings tries to clinch and Halman counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hastings! Halman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hastings is looking to escape. Hastings is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Halman lands a big shot there that rocks Hastings but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Hastings is squirming around, avoiding Halman's attempts to control the action. Hastings blocking the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Halman trying to control but Hastings is having none of it. Hastings is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hastings holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Halman tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Halman lands with some strikes. Halman wants to control the pace but Hastings is squirming around nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacek Halman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hastings clinches with his opponent.
Halman drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hastings drops down looking for an ankle pick but Halman pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hastings wants to clinch up but Halman keeps it at a distance. Hastings keeps Halman at a distance using the push kick. Halman doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hastings counters with a head kick that drops Halman to the mat! Halman scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Halman is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hastings is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Halman hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
