The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yvel lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Girl throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Yvel.
It looks like Ruben Yvel has been cut.
Yvel shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Girl manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Girl will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Yvel shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Yvel was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You get the feeling that Girl really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruben Yvel's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
