Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Justin Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hettie Kate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kate has chosen Peanuts Theme as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Hale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hettie Kate! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kate instigates a clinch. Hale avoids the elbow strike from Kate, against the cage.
Kate stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Hale tries to break free but Kate pushes him back against the cage. Kate has Hale pressed against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Kate throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hale blocks it with crossed arms. Hale wants to get back to striking at distance but Kate won't allow it.
Kate is pressed up against the cage. Hale has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kate down to the mat. Kate avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hale fails to land the takedown. Kate tries to clinch up but Hale circles away and keeps his distance. Kate closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kate lands with a short head shot on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hale ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hale no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kate wants to get up but he can't break Hale's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hale working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kate doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hale is tightening it up a little... Kate has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kate reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kate taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hale!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Justin Hale! Justin Hale really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that XTREME PWNAGE: Down Under! $20 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
