Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grayson Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hain comes to the cage accompanied by Time Frame by Dom and Roland. Davis has chosen Epic - Faith No More as his entrance music. Grayson Davis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Sam Hain's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Hain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Grayson Davis! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis shoots in for a double leg but Hain sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Davis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hain.
Davis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hain is trying to maintain the position but Davis is very close to passing his half guard. Davis is working for a submission of some sort.
Davis not landing any meaningful shots this time. Davis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hain is trying to maintain the position but Davis is very close to passing his half guard. Hain looking for submissions off his back. Davis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. That's one minute gone in the round. Hain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Davis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Davis's back! Davis manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hain's guard. Nice work there by Davis.
Davis loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hain avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Davis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davis has managed to get both his arms back between Hain's legs - danger averted. Hain is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Davis is looking for a sweep. Hain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Davis is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hain jumps into side control! Hain controls the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Davis is looking to regain half guard here but Hain keeps moving and retains side control. Davis can't do much from the bottom here. Davis is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Davis is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hain cracks Davis with an elbow. That is naaassty. Hain trying to control the position but Davis is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Davis is looking to get to half guard. Hain scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Davis tries to hold on but Hain pushes him away. Hain lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hain tries to control but Davis wriggling away. Hain scoring with strikes but Davis is staying in there. Davis is working to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis tries to hold on but Hain postures up. Hain fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hain cracks Davis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Davis tries to lock up and control but Hain gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hain postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Davis looks a forlorn figure.
You get the feeling that Davis really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Davis is rocked! Davis swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Davis is looking to improve his position but Hain isn't that keen on the idea. Hain can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davis is looking to escape. Hain scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Davis?
Davis is still in real trouble! Can Hain finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hain looking to control but Davis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Davis seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hain is landing with some decent strikes but Davis is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Hain wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely. Davis tries to reverse the position but Hain maintains control. Davis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hain working away from the top, dropping strikes. Hain postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Davis bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hain and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Hain! Sam Hain seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
