Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thotiln Sandtracker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricius Metalius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Metalius is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hard Rock Halleluja. Thotiln Sandtracker had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Metalius closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Metalius throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sandtracker's waist but Sandtracker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Metalius off to one side.
Thotiln Sandtracker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricius Metalius.

Horrible takedown by Metalius or perhaps it was just good defense by Sandtracker which made him look bad.

Well Metalius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
