Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Homer Simpson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jim Chang! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chang fails with a takedown attempt. Chang fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Simpson moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Jim Chang has been cut. Chang shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Simpson pinned against the cage. Simpson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Homer Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Chang. Chang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Simpson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chang. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chang gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Simpson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nice shot by Simpson. Chang fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Simpson misses the shot to the body. Chang is trying desperately to land a takedown but Simpson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Chang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chang has a takedown stuffed. Chang should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Chang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Simpson circles away. Chang looks gassed! Chang fails to land the takedown. Chang shoots in looking for a takedown but Simpson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chang's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Chang takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Simpson connects with a jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Simpson lands a nice looking body shot.

That has opened up Jim Chang's cut even more. Simpson fakes the body blow, causing Chang to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Chang goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
