Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Athelston Cupp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juhani Vihervuori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cupp comes to the cage accompanied by Seek and Destroy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cupp tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Vihervuori counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vihervuori pushes Cupp up against the cage in a clinch.
Cupp tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Vihervuori taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Cupp prevents a body shot from Vihervuori.
A shot in the inside from Vihervuori.
Vihervuori turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vihervuori manages to end up in side control.
Cupp wants to get back to his feet.
Cupp tries to improve position but can't.
Vihervuori is trying to get an arm triangle but Cupp is defending well.
Cupp is not content to let Vihervuori control the position.

Vihervuori grinds an elbow into Cupp's temple.
Vihervuori is staying tight to Cupp's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Cupp tries to buck Vihervuori off but Vihervuori is having none of it.
Vihervuori is trying to get an arm triangle but Cupp is defending well.
Cupp is trying to escape the position but Vihervuori is controlling the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
It looks like Vihervuori might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vihervuori is looking for a choke. Cupp gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Cupp manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cupp misses with a wild combination.
Cupp shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vihervuori as he jumps to the side.
Vihervuori drives through and clinches with Cupp against the cage.
Cupp drags the fight down to the ground.
Cupp had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vihervuori defends it easily.
Cupp keeping moving, preventing Vihervuori from controlling successfully.
Vihervuori pushes down on Cupp's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vihervuori looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Vihervuori is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cupp sees it coming and defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Cupp actively working from the bottom here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Vihervuori connects with a nice short shot to Cupp's temple.
Vihervuori passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Cupp!
Vihervuori is working for a guillotine from mount but Cupp frees his head quite easily.
A nice elbow there by Vihervuori.

Vihervuori wants to finish this one by submission but Cupp is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Vihervuori.
Cupp prevents Vihervuori from taking his back.
Vihervuori goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cupp turns into him and now he's in Vihervuori's guard.
Vihervuori wants to sweep here but Cupp controlling him for the moment.

Cupp tries to free his leg and advance position but Vihervuori is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cupp thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cupp is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Vihervuori is trying to get back to full guard.
Vihervuori is concentrating on defense, preventing Cupp from advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juhani Vihervuori showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

and Vihervuori counters with a stiff right hand.
Cupp is rocked!
Cupp on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Oh Cupp is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cupp ducks into an uppercut from Vihervuori and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Juhani Vihervuori!
