The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Turma as Steele shoots in.
A slapping leg kick lands for Steele.
Steele gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Turma.
Steele drives through with a takedown into guard.

Steele drops back looking for a leg! Turma is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Turma manages to kick Steele off! Steele jumps back into Turma's guard.
Turma bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Steele's guard.

Turma got a little sloppy there for a moment and Steele has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Turma has managed to get both his arms back between Steele's legs - danger averted.

Steele is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Turma defends well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turma lands a nice short elbow.

Turma thows a huge punch but Steele dodges it nicely.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Logan Steele will probably get the nod.
That's time! Steele's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Turma walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Turma feints and then cracks Steele's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steele down.
Turma misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Turma moves away from the strike by Steele.
Steele has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Steele tries a head kick but it misses.
Steele takes a swing at Turma's ribcage but misses.
Turma lunges at Steele with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Steele's hand.
Turma looks to land a left hand but Steele moved out of range nicely.
Turma throws a low kick but Steele moves out of range easily.
Turma stuffs the takedown attempt from Steele. Steele gets slowly back to his feet.
Steele gets caught flat footed, as Turma shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Steele lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Turma!
Steele goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Turma is on top in guard.

Steele working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turma manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Teppo Turma showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Logan Steele.
