Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Phil Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Worrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes to the cage accompanied by Time Of Dying by 3 Days Grace. Eric Worrell struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.7lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Worrell! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Worrell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stone throws a series of punches but Worrell avoids them all with ease. Stone scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Eric Worrell has been cut. Stone throws a right hand that Worrell ducks under and follows up with a left that Worrell also avoids with ease. Stone attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Worrell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Worrell controlling the pace for now. Let's hope that Worrell has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Worrell throwing strikes here but Stone is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Worrell.
Worrell lands a nice shot to the head. Worrell controlling from mount. Stone manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Stone, under a barage of strikes from Worrell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Worrell trying to pass the guard but Stone defending well. Worrell is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Eric Worrell wasn't active enough on the ground. Stone scores with a nice strike. Worrell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stone cracks a nice hook into Worrell's ribs. Worrell slips a jab and a cross from Stone.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Worrell throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Worrell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Worrell persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Worrell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Worrell gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Stone misses with a few strikes there.

Worrell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Stone on his heels. He'll look to pass Stone's guard now, I'm sure. Stone is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Worrell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Worrell throws a strike but Stone rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Worrell seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Stone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Worrell tries to land a sweep but no joy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Worrell dominated that round. The cut man is working on Eric Worrell's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stone tries to sprawl but Worrell drives through with a takedown into half guard. Worrell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stone is just riding it out for now. Worrell eventually gives up the hold. Worrell passes to side control. Worrell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stone to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Worrell throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.
Phil Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone throws a front kick aimed at Worrell's knee but Worrell avoids it well. Stone throws a combination. Worrell tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Stone throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Stone throws a right and a left that Worrell avoids nicely. Worrell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Worrell is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Worrell thows a huge punch but Stone dodges it nicely.
Stone is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Worrell moves nicely into side control. You can see the frustration on Stone's face as Worrell controls the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Worrell is putting a hurting on Stone here, landing some big shots from side control. Stone prevents Worrell from improving position. Eric Worrell has got the better of the ground game so far. Worrell stands up and beckons Stone to his feet. Worrell instigates a clinch. Worrell manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worrell scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Worrell controls the position from side control. Stone prevents Worrell from improving position. Worrell is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stone's shoulder. That is not cool. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone wants to get back to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Worrell moves into full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Worrell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Eric Worrell's cut. That's time! Stone's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Stone gets tackled into the cage by Worrell. Worrell maintains the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Stone's face as he tries to break the clinch. Stone is pressed up against the cage. Worrell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stone down to the mat. Stone avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Worrell moves into range and clinches up with Stone. Worrell has clasped his hands together around Stone's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Stone is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Worrell's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Stone is looking to escape. Worrell is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Worrell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Worrell's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Phil Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Eric Worrell was stalling too much, according to the referee. Worrell throws a front kick that sends Stone stumbling back into the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Worrell takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Worrell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Worrell shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Worrell showed some decent athleticism there. Worrell slows the pace down in half guard. Stone blocking the ground and pound attempt from Worrell.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Worrell missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Worrell moves into full mount! Stone won't be happy about that! Worrell lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Worrell is working for a guillotine from mount but Stone frees his head quite easily.
Stone blocking the ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Worrell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Stone's face.
Eric Worrell is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Worrell tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Worrell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Worrell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
