Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Twitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephan Marx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marx tries to score a power double leg takedown but Twitchell sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Marx somewhat.
Marx tries to close the distance and clinch but Twitchell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Twitchell gets a takedown into half guard.
Marx actively working from the bottom here.
Twitchell looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Twitchell has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Marx's face.
