Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Wain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arek Bell! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wain is trying to defend but Bell finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Wain is pressing down on Bell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bell has managed to get both his arms back between Wain's legs - danger averted. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wain keeping moving, preventing Bell from controlling successfully. Wain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bell trying to control the position from guard on top but Wain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wain is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bell throws a big elbow that misses. Wain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell is looking to stand up but Wain won't let him. Wain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wain has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bell doesn't defend quickly enough and Wain has managed to lock this one up! Can Bell escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Wain on a fantastic submission victory.
