0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lorenzo Da Silva! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Silva tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sansons manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Da Silva closes the distance but Sansons moves to the side and Sansons counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sansons seems to be working for a kimura but Da Silva defends the submission attempt. Sansons wants to work for an arm triangle but Da Silva is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Da Silva wants to clinch. Sansons looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Da Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.

Da Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sansons is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sansons drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Sansons seems to have locked his on tight now - Da Silva screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Sansons, as he picks up the win!
