Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace has chosen "Cinderella Man" by Eminem as his entrance music. Jake Wallace will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tom Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Wallace! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob misses with a low kick. Wallace tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bob manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Wallace tries to clinch up but Bob circles away and keeps his distance. Bob shoots for a double leg takedown but Wallace sprawls well. He's pushed Bob's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wallace tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nice takedown defense from Wallace. No joy for Bob on that attempt. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bob. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bob swats away the attempt to clinch by Wallace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wallace rushes Bob and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Wallace lands with a short head shot on the inside. Bob blocks a body shot from Wallace. Wallace lands a left hand.
Wallace lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bob backwards. Wallace lands a right hand. Wallace lands a left hand.
Wallace lands a nice uppercut. Wallace lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Wallace effectively controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Wallace tries a body shot but Bob blocks it.
Wallace lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bob backwards. Bob's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wallace lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bob backwards. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wallace's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Wallace. Wallace makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Wallace lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Wallace. Bob takes a shot to the head. Wallace lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. With the fighters up against the cage, Wallace throws an elbow but misses. Wallace stalling in the clinch.
Wallace lands a shoulder strike. A right hand to the body from Wallace.
Bob is breathing heavily. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wallace creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wallace working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wallace takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Bob is working for takedown but Wallace is calmly controlling the position for now. Bob drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wallace pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bob looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Wallace looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wallace clinches with his opponent.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wallace lands a left hand that snaps the head of Bob backwards. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Wallace dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Wallace feints and then cracks Bob's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bob down. Wallace tries to clinch but Bob moves away and Bob counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wallace won't be happy with that. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Wallace is looking to regain half guard here but Bob keeps moving and retains side control. Bob working the head with strikes. Wallace is not content to let Bob control the position. Bob throws an elbow but Wallace slips to the side and avoids it well. The ground and pound from Bob seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bob is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Wallace will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bob wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters take a look at the clock. The ground and pound from Bob seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bob tries to score with some ground and pound. Wallace controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Bob creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Wallace sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Bob tries to score with some ground and pound. Bob is putting a hurting on Wallace here, landing some big shots from side control. Bob wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bob is working Wallace over with some ground and pound from side control. Bob moves into full mount! Wallace is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wallace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bob. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bob working away from the top, dropping strikes. Bob raining down hammerfists from mount. Bob landing shots from mount. Wallace is squirming around, avoiding Bob's attempts to control the action. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wallace can do anything to dispel that myth. Wallace taking shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace is trying to escape the mount.

Bob working away from the top, dropping strikes. Wallace has left one of his arms exposed and Bob doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Wallace screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tom Bob! A very excited looking Tom Bob made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
