Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pvt. Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Oven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mullen and George Oven. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oven throws a solid leg kick but Mullen takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Oven.
Oven waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mullen.
Oven throws the left hand but Mullen avoids the punch easily.
Oven tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mullen was well out of range. Poor timing from Oven.
Oven fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mullen takes a swing at Oven's ribcage but misses.
Oven lands with a shot to the body.
Oven jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mullen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Oven sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Mullen tries to bum rush Oven with a series of wild strikes but Oven uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Mullen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Oven misses with a straight left.

Oven closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Oven lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Oven throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mullen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mullen can't keep his opponent in guard - Oven advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Oven does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's time! Mullen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A decent looking cross lands there for Oven.
Mullen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mullen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Oven closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mullen did well to prevent Oven getting side control.
Mullen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Oven uses his free foot to push down on Mullen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mullen.

Mullen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mullen tries to get out of the position.
Mullen is in a horrible position here. Oven smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Pvt. Mullen has been cut.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). George Oven!
A relieved looking George Oven thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
