Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Hieron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jobber has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Mr Jobber is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hieron pushes Jobber up against the cage in a clinch.
Jobber wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hieron successfully pulls guard.
Hieron looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jobber is one step ahead there.
Hieron manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Jobber looks gassed!
Hieron is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jobber can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hieron really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hieron seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

It looks like Mr Jobber has been cut.
Hieron tightens his grip and picks Jobber up, before dumping him to the ground. Jobber manages to land in guard.

Derrick Hieron has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hieron stalks Jobber and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jobber's face. Jobber staggers backwards, shaken.

Derrick Hieron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jobber takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jobber is still on wobbly legs! Can Hieron finish him?
Hieron is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jobber's half guard.

Oooh a lovely combination from Hieron sends Jobber down but not out. Hieron dives into side control looking to finish.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jobber is trying to escape the position but Hieron is controlling the position.
Hieron has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Derrick Hieron overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hieron shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jobber napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jobber is letting Hieron control him for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Derrick Hieron just wasn't active enough.
Hieron feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hieron sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jobber's guard.

Jobber takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hieron seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jobber for as long as he can get away with.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Derrick Hieron.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hieron is on top in guard.

Hieron feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jobbers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Hieron catches Jobber with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Jobber forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
