Jimmi Snuka struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gauge throws out a leg kick but Snuka moves out of range and Gauge only half commits.
Gauge avoids the head kick by Snuka.
Gauge lands with a nice combination. Snuka backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Jimmi Snuka has been cut.
Snuka tries to clinch up but Gauge circles away and keeps his distance.

Snuka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Gauge finds it's way round the side to connect with Snuka's head.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Snuka might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Gauge has got the better of the exchanges.

Gauge throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Snuka stumbling backwards into the cage! Snuka bounces back off the cage towards Gauge, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Gauge lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Gauge celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
