Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Graghbeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miko Garounen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Graghbeck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miko Garounen!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graghbeck circles away from the clinch attempt

so Graghbeck counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Garounen is trying to keep Graghbeck in close.

Garounen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Graghbeck can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Garounen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Graghbeck controls the pace.

Graghbeck got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garounen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Graghbeck has managed to get both his arms back between Garounen's legs - danger averted.
Graghbeck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garounen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Garounen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Graghbeck defends it easily.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Garounen is on top in guard.

Garounen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Graghbeck looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Graghbeck looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Graghbeck!

Garounen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Graghbeck.

Graghbeck shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Garounen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Graghbeck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Graghbeck avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Sebastian Graghbeck will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Graghbeck shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Graghbeck was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Garounen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Graghbeck is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Garounen.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Garounen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Graghbeck's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
