Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Braulio Estima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Estima comes to the cage accompanied by Hammurabi-Shelter of Blames. David has chosen Lava Lava as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estima closes the distance and clinches.
David successfully pulls guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
David keeping moving, preventing Estima from controlling successfully.
David is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Estima is aware though and is defending well.
David is looking for a triangle here but Estima uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Estima tries to move to mount but David blocks the move with his legs.
Estima works to advance to full mount. David defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Estima takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
David is desperately trying to improve his position but Estima has a good base and remains in mount.

Estima can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as David is looking to escape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

David sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

David has his foot on Estima's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Estima works his way back into a safe position though.

Estima maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! David could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Estima has cracked it and David is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Estima!
