Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Flagship Carrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justin White has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flagship Carrier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin White!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
White is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carrier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
White just misses with a punch to the body.
White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Carrier is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, Carrier circles away and we're back to standing.
Carrier misses with a few strikes there.

White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Carrier is trying to get back to half guard.
White advances to mount.
White trying to control but Carrier is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carrier throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
White looking to control but Carrier is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Carrier on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carrier tries to get out of the position.

Carrier wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
White is looking to control Carrier but Carrier is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Carrier rolls, trying to escape but White keeps control of the position.

White is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Carrier defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Carrier.
Carrier is trying to remain composed but White is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

White is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Carrier is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
I would not like to be Carrier right now.
White trying to control.
I really don't envy Carrier right now.

White is looking for the choke from the back position but Carrier is controlling his hands well.

Carrier tries to roll but White sticks to his back.
Carrier is working hard here to advance position.
Carrier looking very determined here, making life difficult for White.
White might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Carrier kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Carrier is trying to break free.
White is trying to stick to Carrier's back but Carrier is turning into White. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in White's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Carrier.
White controls Carrier momentarily but Carrier frees himself.

Justin White has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Carrier shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Carrier was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Carrier with shots to the head and body - White looks very uncomfortable down there.
White in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
White is trying desperately to improve position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Justin White will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



White throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Carrier tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. White is in Carrier's guard.
Carrier tries to land a sweep but no joy.
White postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Carrier wants to sweep but no luck.
White wants to control from the top but Carrier keeps moving.

White gets to his feet. Carrier looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from White is defended easily by Carrier.
White tries to clinch but Carrier moves out of range.
White tries to clinch up but Carrier circles away and keeps his distance.
Carrier throws a series of punches but White moves out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from White enables Carrier to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. White manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carrier's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
White wants to stand and escape but Carrier is having none of it.
White trying to keep a closed guard but Carrier is proving a slippery customer.
White is breathing heavily.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
White looking to control but Carrier passes into half guard.
White is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Justin White wasn't active enough on the ground.

Carrier shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Carrier lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carrier connects with a nice short shot to White's temple.

White is trying to control but can't.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
White is trying is best to control the position here.

Justin White has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
White shoots in for a takedown but Carrier shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
White tries to clinch but Carrier is having none of it.
White shoots in for a double leg but Carrier sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Flagship Carrier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin White.
Carrier connects with a single shot there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Carrier connects with an inside leg kick.
Carrier lands with a nice combination. White backs away looking to recover.
Carrier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Carrier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Carrier cracks White with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Carrier throws a head kick but White moves out of range.
Carrier lets loose with a powerful body kick. White will feel that in the morning.
Flagship Carrier is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Carrier scores with a hook to the body. White takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Carrier gets a double leg takedown into White's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Carrier trying to control but White is working from the bottom.
White working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flagship Carrier dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Carrier lands a glancing blow to the side of White's head.
Carrier fails with a takedown attempt.
Carrier throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease.
A thudding body kick lands there by Carrier!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carrier is defended easily by White.
White takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
White closes the distance and clinches up with Carrier, looking for a takedown. White pushes Carrier against the cage but Carrier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Flagship Carrier is winning the standup battle so far.

Carrier shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. White is trying to defend but Carrier finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

White is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Carrier's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Carrier's back!
White is trying to stick to Carrier's back but Carrier is turning into White. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in White's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Carrier.

White trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Carrier has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Justin White wasn't active enough on the ground.
White throws a right and a left that both miss.
Good exchange - Carrier coming out on top.
Carrier misses with a kick to the body.
Carrier slaps away a takedown attempt from White, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Flagship Carrier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin White.
Carrier lands a straight punch to the body, keeping White at a distance.

Carrier scores with a jab to the body.

Carrier bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Carrier scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at White to see if he's OK.
White takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
White tries to control but Carrier manages to take his back.
White tries to escape the position.

Carrier is landing with strikes. White can't take much more of this.
Carrier scores with punches to the body.


White is rocked!
Carrier lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Carrier.
White is still in real trouble! Can Carrier finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Carrier connects with a couple of big shots that have White covering up! Oh, this looks bad for White! Carrier fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
