Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stan Baem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James KIng Jr! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! KIng Jr takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
KIng Jr looks gassed! KIng Jr throws a combination that misses and Baem counters with a head kick. James KIng Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! KIng Jr crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Baem - the referee stops the clock and KIng Jr gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Baem. KIng Jr manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Baem throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around KIng Jr's waist but KIng Jr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baem off to one side. KIng Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Baem counters with a straight punch to the midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Baem moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Baem doesn't manage to clinch there - KIng Jr circles away.
Baem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by KIng Jr. KIng Jr swats away the attempt to clinch by Baem. Baem looking to score a takedown here. KIng Jr is defending well but Baem drives through and ends up in KIng Jr's guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Baem working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Baem advances position into side control! Baem trying to control the action but KIng Jr is working from the bottom. Baem fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. KIng Jr is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Baem is staying tight to KIng Jr's torso, preventing him from escaping. Baem works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Baem decides to stand back up. Baem steps back and let's KIng Jr get back to his feet. Baem throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baem drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Baem slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Baem has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baem's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Baem passes KIng Jr's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Baem is trying for a kimura here. KIng Jr looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Baem wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Stan Baem! As Stan Baem got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: hahaha yeah! peace! i'm out!'.
