The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moneysmith fails with a takedown attempt.
Moneysmith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Love tries to buck Moneysmith off but Moneysmith is having none of it.
Love tries to escape but Moneysmith is in control.

Love shoots in looking for a takedown. Moneysmith tries to sprawl out of it but Love keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Moneysmith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Love changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moneysmith tries to avoid it but Love manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moneysmith to the ground. Moneysmith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Caleb Moneysmith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of KP Love.

and Love counters with a big head kick but Moneysmith shrugs it off.
Caleb Moneysmith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moneysmith avoids the head kick by Love.
Love shoots for a double leg takedown but Moneysmith sprawls well. He's pushed Love's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Moneysmith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Love's guard.

Love is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Moneysmith has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Love takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Love working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Moneysmith is doing well to defend. Love seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Moneysmith is forced to tap and this one is over!
