The bell rings for round one and we are underway! September stuffs the takedown attempt from Lilke. Lilke gets slowly back to his feet. September will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lilke has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from September finds it's way round the side to connect with Lilke's head. Lilke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. September manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. September throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lilke misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. September defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lilke. OK we're going to have a standup here. Alvin Lilke hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Lilke keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

September might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lilke wants to control from the top but September keeps moving. Lilke is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lilke looking to pass the guard. He's got his arms around September's waist but September gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lilke off to one side.
