Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valerian Rexus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Tripper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Valerian Rexus!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tripper takes a swing at Rexus's ribcage but misses.
Rexus on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Tripper avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tripper cracks Rexus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Rexus misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tripper swings for the body but Rexus moves out of range.
Rexus ducks right into an uppercut from Tripper.
Rexus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tripper is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rexus.

Rexus takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tripper forces Rexus back against the cage and clinches.
Tripper lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Tripper lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Tripper digs a right hand underneath Rexus's ribcage. Rexus let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Tripper stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Tripper pushes Rexus back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Tripper lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Rexus's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Tripper will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Rexus up against the cage.

Rexus tries to pull guard but Tripper holds him up against the cage and eventually Rexus drops back down to his feet.
Jack Tripper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Valerian Rexus.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A right hook to the body lands for Tripper.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Tripper lands a right hand.
Tripper lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rexus backwards.
Nice body punch from Tripper - that landed with a thud.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Rexus takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tripper cracks Rexus with an uppercut from hell and Rexus crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Tripper's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Rexus is rocked!
It looks like Valerian Rexus has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tripper seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rexus is breathing heavily.
Jack Tripper has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Tripper missing with a left hand there. Rexus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Tripper fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rexus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tripper throws a body punch but Rexus moves out of range.
Valerian Rexus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tripper's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rexus under the eye.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tripper's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Rexus seems to have recovered his senses.

We're going to have a standup here because Jack Tripper wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tripper circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Rexus to the canvas! Rexus doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Tripper keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Tripper!
