Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregorio San Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gregorio San Pedro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hessu Hopo! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from San Pedro.
It looks like Hessu Hopo has been cut. Hopo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. San Pedro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hopo controls the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! San Pedro sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Hopo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Hopo working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hopo wants to control the pace but San Pedro is squirming around nicely. You get the feeling that San Pedro really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's two minutes gone in the round. San Pedro blocking the ground and pound. San Pedro is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hopo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hopo unloads with some shots from mount but San Pedro bucks and avoids them well.
Hopo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hopo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as San Pedro is looking to escape. Hopo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control San Pedro kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. San Pedro wants to hold on but Hopo pushes him away. Hopo throws some wild stikes that San Pedro manages to avoid easily.
Hopo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! San Pedro is trying desperately to improve position. Hopo controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. San Pedro in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hopo lands with some vicious ground and pound - can San Pedro hang on? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hopo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hopo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for San Pedro because Hopo loaded up on that one. Hopo wants to control the pace but San Pedro is squirming around nicely. San Pedro wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hopo.
Hopo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! San Pedro is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hessu Hopo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hessu Hopo's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice defenses there by Hopo. San Pedro lands a lovely overhand right. Hopo closes the distance and clinches up with San Pedro, looking for a takedown. Hopo pushes San Pedro against the cage but San Pedro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hopo works San Pedro's body with a nice hook. San Pedro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hopo. Hopo looking to score a takedown here. San Pedro is defending well but Hopo drives through and ends up in San Pedro's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! San Pedro is trying to keep Hopo in close.
San Pedro has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Hopo preventing the sweep.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gregorio San Pedro. Hopo misses the shot to the body.

San Pedro throws a jab but it's blocked by Hopo. San Pedro takes a swing at Hopo's ribcage but misses. San Pedro misses with an uppercut. San Pedro misses the jab. Hopo lands a nice hook to San Pedro's body. San Pedro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Gregorio San Pedro is winning the standup battle so far. San Pedro just misses with a punch to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. San Pedro throws a hook but Hopo blocks it. A looping hook to the body misses from Hopo. San Pedro does a little dance to reset his feet. San Pedro throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. San Pedro connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That has opened up Hessu Hopo's cut even more. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. San Pedro throws a jab but it's blocked by Hopo. Gregorio San Pedro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hopo swings widly with a right hand
and San Pedro counters with a lovely shot to the body. San Pedro pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. San Pedro throws a hook but Hopo blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. San Pedro throws out a token jab with nothing on it. San Pedro throws a good cross that connects.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hopo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from San Pedro.
San Pedro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hopo. San Pedro will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. San Pedro throws a body punch but Hopo moves out of range. San Pedro uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hopo. San Pedro misses the jab. Gregorio San Pedro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. San Pedro pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Hopo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but San Pedro manages to avoid it. A punch combination from Hopo misses. Hopo tries to score a power double leg takedown but San Pedro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hopo somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hopo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and San Pedro makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Hopo gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. San Pedro manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hopo looking to pass the guard. Hopo postures up.
Hopo controls the pace of the fight for a moment. San Pedro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. San Pedro controlling Hopo's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopo scoring with some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! San Pedro wriggles free and stands up. San Pedro throws a hook to the side of Hopo's head but Hopo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hopo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as San Pedro sprawls well. San Pedro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hopo gets slowly back to his feet. San Pedro throws a series of punches but Hopo moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. San Pedro throws a right hand that misses
enabling Hopo to counter with a crisp jab. San Pedro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hopo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. San Pedro takes one to the chin there. Hopo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The cut above Hessu Hopo's eye is starting to cause him problems now. The fighters circling - San Pedro throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hopo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gregorio San Pedro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hessu Hopo. Hopo clobbers San Pedro with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hopo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hopo moves out of range of the strikes. San Pedro fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hopo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around San Pedro's waist but San Pedro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hopo off to one side. Hopo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hopo lands a nice hook to San Pedro's body. San Pedro takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hopo looks to land a left hand but San Pedro moved out of range nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gregorio San Pedro. I think San Pedro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
