Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregorio San Pedro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from San Pedro.
It looks like Hessu Hopo has been cut.
Hopo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. San Pedro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hopo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as San Pedro sprawls well. San Pedro wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hopo gets slowly back to his feet.

enabling Hopo to counter with a crisp jab.
San Pedro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hopo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Hopo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around San Pedro's waist but San Pedro gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hopo off to one side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gregorio San Pedro.
I think San Pedro has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
