Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mang Kanor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urak Khai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urak Khai has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mang Kanor's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mang Kanor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Urak Khai!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Khai. Those never looked like landing.
Khai throws a sloppy head kick and Kanor moves out of range easily.
Kanor pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khai throws a right and a left that both miss.
Khai tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Khai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kanor moves away.
Khai moves in looking to clinch but Kanor pushes him off.
Khai tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kanor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kanor avoids a punch combination nicely.

Khai gets caught napping as Kanor dives in and scores a takedown. Khai manages to retain guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kanor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Khai is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kanor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kanor with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kanor won't allow Khai to get back to his feet.

Kanor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kanor landing some decent shots from guard.
Khai wants to stand but Kanor is controlling the position.
Khai looks gassed!

Kanor drops back looking for a leg! Khai is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Khai manages to kick Kanor off! Kanor jumps back into Khai's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kanor stands up over Khai, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Kanor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kanor's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kanor drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kanor as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Khai screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kanor! Nice submission victory there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Mang Kanor!
