The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beebe clinches up against the cage.

Perero shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beebe pinned against the cage. Beebe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Perero tries to move into range but Beebe moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Beebe darts in and clinches Perero up against the cage.
Perero is trying to break the clinch but Beebe is controlling him.
Perero is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Beebe to keep the fight standing.

Chase Beebe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Perero.

Beebe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Perero tries for a takedown but Beebe circles away easily
and Beebe counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Beebe pushes Perero up against the cage in a clinch.
Perero has had enough of the clinch but Beebe keeps him there for the moment.

Perero jumps guard but Beebe stands there with Perero around his waist. Perero gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Beebe fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Perero, pushing him back against the cage.

Beebe breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Beebe lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
No joy there for Beebe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Beebe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Beebe has Perero pressed against the cage.

Beebe shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Perero eats them both and turns towards Beebe to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Perero tries to keep at a distance but Beebe has taken the fight into the clinch.

Beebe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Beebe scoring well with a low kick there.
Perero misses with a takedown attempt

Perero looks gassed!
Still in the clinch, Beebe scores with a nice short uppercut.
Perero wants to stall.

Beebe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Perero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Perero tries to escape but Beebe is in control.

Beebe decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Beebe has taken the fight to the clinch.

Beebe lands a knee to the head.

Beebe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beebe lands with a shot to the body.
A head kick from Beebe lands but Perero takes it in his stride.

Perero is rocked!

Beebe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beebe showed some decent athleticism there.
Perero is still in real trouble! Can Beebe finish him?

Beebe stands up out of the half guard.
Beebe lands a nice shot to the body.
Perero seems to have recovered his senses.

Beebe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Beebe decides to stand and escape the position.

Beebe takes the fight into the clinch.
Perero takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Luis Perero has been cut.

Beebe breaks the clinch.

Perero gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Beebe gets to his feet. Perero looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Beebe jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Perero is trying desperately to land a takedown but Beebe is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Perero.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Beebe moves into the clinch.
Beebe creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Perero's defenses.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beebe swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Perero.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Beebe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fighters circle, before Beebe throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Perero's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Beebe lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
