Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Rutecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Brashears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutecki comes to the cage accompanied by Remember the Name. The crowd seem to be enjoying Brashears's choice of entrance music: Move. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brashears shoots for a double leg takedown but Rutecki sprawls well. He's pushed Brashears's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rutecki gets caught flat footed, as Brashears shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Brashears drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rutecki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brashears has Rutecki in his guard.
Rutecki throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Brashears works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rutecki drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brashears looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brashears looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brashears!
