Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darren Robson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Assuerio Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren Robson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Assuerio Sanderson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanderson to the mat! Sanderson manages to get full guard. Sanderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Robson is one step ahead there. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanderson can do anything to dispel that myth. Sanderson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Robson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Robson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sanderson is keeping the position for now. Sanderson is working an open guard so Robson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Robson shoots in but Sanderson avoids the takedown attempt easily. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robson's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanderson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Robson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Robson with a poor takedown and Sanderson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Robson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robson stops a takedown attempt from Sanderson.

A close round but Assuerio Sanderson will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Robson shoots and misses and Sanderson counters with a takedown into side control. Robson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Sanderson is controlling the pace.
Robson is not content to let Sanderson control the position. Robson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sanderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Robson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Robson is looking to regain full guard. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Robson fails with the takedown and Sanderson counters into the clinch. Nicely done. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darren Robson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sanderson fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sanderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Robson with a short hammerfist. He's simply no match for Sanderson on the ground. Sanderson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Sanderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Assuerio Sanderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Robson regains half guard. Darren Robson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Robson tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
And that's the end of the fight! Assuerio Sanderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sanderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
