Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lafor Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dead Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy tries for a takedown but Saint sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Saint tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kennedy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kennedy.
Kennedy shoots in but Saint avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lafor Saint has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dead Kennedy.

Saint creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Saint is looking to stand back up but Kennedy counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Saint.
Saint pushes Kennedy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kennedy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Saint knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kennedy on the ground.

Kennedy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
