16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ian Phillips! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crowley Osbourne! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Phillips misses with a left hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Osbourne. Osbourne throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice jab there from Osbourne.
It looks like Ian Phillips has been cut. Phillips throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Osbourne sees it coming and avoids it easily. Phillips scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Osbourne is trying to maintain the position but Phillips is very close to passing his half guard. Osbourne looks like he's trying to stand up.
Osbourne is refusing to be controlled, as Phillips sits in half guard. Phillips not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Phillips with the ground and pound but Osbourne uses the opportunity to regain guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Osbourne looking to hit a scissor sweep but Phillips is one step ahead there.

Osbourne wants to sweep but no luck. Phillips stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Osbourne swivels though and keeps the full guard. Osbourne looking for a guillotine here but Phillips defends easily.
Osbourne has his foot on Phillips's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Phillips works his way back into a safe position though. Osbourne looking to control.

Phillips controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Phillips postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Phillips trying to control but Osbourne is working from the bottom. Phillips is looking to work some ground and pound but Osbourne has wrist control. Phillips stays in close to Osbourne's body and controls the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Osbourne is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Phillips wants to pass the guard but Osbourne is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Phillips accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Phillips avoids a kick to the body.
Nice defenses there by Phillips. Osbourne misses with a leg kick enabling Phillips to counter with a crisp jab. A big right from Phillips misses. Ian Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Osbourne uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Phillips. Osbourne on the wrong end of a nice jab. Phillips throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Osbourne throws a nice outside leg kick. Phillips misses with a hook. Phillips swings for the body but Osbourne moves out of range.

Phillips throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A jab from Osbourne misses. Phillips misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Phillips misses with a hook. Osbourne ducked under it nicely. Phillips lands with a hook. Osbourne tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Nice defenses there by Osbourne. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Phillips throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Osbourne on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Osbourne wants to slow Phillips down by chopping away at his legs. Phillips lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Osbourne counters with a shoot takedown. Phillips fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Crowley Osbourne will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ian Phillips's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

That looked like it hurt. Phillips throws out a token jab with nothing on it. The crowd cheers as Osbourne lands an impressive looking overhand right. Phillips doesn't seem phased though. Osbourne gets caught flat footed, as Phillips shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Phillips slips nicely into half guard. Osbourne is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Osbourne wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phillips takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Phillips is looking to take a break and control but Osbourne is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Osbourne tries to kick Phillips off but Phillips keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Phillips prevents Osbourne from improving his position. Osbourne moves into full guard.

He's managed it... Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Phillips thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Osbourne's head. Phillips wants to pass the guard but Osbourne is defending well. Osbourne is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Phillips winds up and cracks Osbourne with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Nice strikes from Phillips there. Phillips tries to pass the half guard into mount. Osbourne knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Osbourne is trying to maintain the position but Phillips is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Osbourne has hold of Phillips's hands but Phillips slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Phillips missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Osbourne moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Phillips postures up in Osbourne's guard and throws a big left but Osbourne blocks it. Phillips loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Phillips trying to control the position from guard on top but Osbourne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Osbourne manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Phillips manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Phillips looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Osbourne is defending well. Phillips quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Osbourne has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Phillips celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
