Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ikuhisa Minowaman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitch is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by rusty cage. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ikuhisa Minowaman ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Fitch! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Minowaman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fitch throws out the jab. Minowaman scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Minowaman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Minowaman stands up. Fitch looks gassed! Fitch tries to land a front kick but Minowaman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Minowaman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Minowaman drops back looking for a leg! Fitch is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fitch manages to kick Minowaman off! Minowaman jumps back into Fitch's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Minowaman tries to stand but Fitch is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Minowaman stands and steps away. Fitch gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Fitch gets caught napping as Minowaman dives in and scores a takedown. Fitch manages to retain guard. Minowaman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fitch is keeping the position for now. Fitch is working an open guard so Minowaman takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Minowaman dives in and scores a takedown into Fitch's guard. Minowaman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Minowaman shoots in and gets a takedown into Fitch's guard. Minowaman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Minowaman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Minowaman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Minowaman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fitch is keeping the position for now. Minowaman gets to his feet - Fitch follows without any prompting. Minowaman looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fitch! Minowaman stands up from mount. Strange move. Minowaman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fitch's guard.
Fitch is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Minowaman pushes down on Fitch's leg and manages to get into half guard. Fitch is still in real trouble! Can Minowaman finish him? Minowaman stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Fitch to get to his feet. Fitch gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Minowaman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fitch, up you get! Minowaman shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Fitch is on queer street and Minowaman is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Ikuhisa Minowaman ! After the fight, Ikuhisa Minowaman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
