Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tank James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Tapplytown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tank James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devon Tapplytown!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by James misses
and Tapplytown counters with a two punch combo.
Tapplytown stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tapplytown wants it to stay on the feet.
A combination from James does no damage.

Tapplytown drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tapplytown is looking to take a break and control but James is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tapplytown tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

It looks like Tank James has been cut.
Tapplytown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tapplytown dives in and grabs James's left leg, looking for a takedown. James pushes down on Tapplytown's head and hops out.

James cracks Tapplytown with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Tapplytown throws a front kick aimed at James's knee but James avoids it well.

Tank James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devon Tapplytown.
James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tapplytown paws at him with a jab and circles away.

James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tapplytown sprawls well. Tapplytown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet.

James closes the distance and clinches up with Tapplytown, looking for a takedown. James pushes Tapplytown against the cage but Tapplytown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tapplytown is trying to trip James. He has hold of a leg but James is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Tapplytown persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

James has his foot on Tapplytown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tapplytown works his way back into a safe position though.

James gets tackled into the cage by Tapplytown. Tapplytown maintains the clinch.
James wants to get back to striking at distance but Tapplytown won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tapplytown throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but James blocks it with crossed arms.
Tank James has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Devon Tapplytown is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Devon Tapplytown.
Well Tapplytown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
