The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solny tries to sprawl but And Pound drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
And Pound seems to be looking for submissions.
Solny is defending against the submission attempts here by And Pound.
And Pound not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Solny moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
And Pound is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Solny wants to stand and escape but And Pound is having none of it.

And Pound is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Solny defends it well.
And Pound moves nicely into side control.

Solny is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
